Akshay Hariom Bhatia, often known as Akshay Kumar, is an Indian actor and producer who mostly works in the Hindi-language film industry. He was born Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia on September 9, 1967. Kumar has been an actor for more than 30 years. He has been in more than 100 movies and received several honors, including two National Film Awards and two Filmfare Awards. In 2009, the Indian government awarded him the Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian honor in the country. One of the most productive performers in Indian film is Kumar. From 2015 through 2020, Forbes featured Kumar on their rankings of the highest-paid actors and entertainers worldwide. He was the only Indian on either list in 2019 or 2020.

Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia, the birth name of Akshay Kumar, born in Amritsar, Punjab, on September 9, 1967. He first attended the Don Bosco School in Delhi before moving to Mumbai to attend Khalsa College. His love of martial arts led him to Bangkok, where he studied Muay Thai after earning a Black Belt in Taekwondo. He earned money by working as a cook and waiter so that he could pay for his own education.

When Akshay first began teaching martial arts in India, one of his pupils predicted that he would become a model because of his attractiveness. Akki made the decision to try his hand at modeling, and not only did he receive a job but was also compensated.

Since then, there has been no turning back. The Khiladi series, which began with Khiladi in 1992 and continued with Main Khiladi Tu Anari in 1994, Sabse Bada Khiladi in 1995, Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi in 1996, and so on, is largely responsible for his daring acts earning him the moniker "action star." The Yash Raj studio first debuted Akshay as the romantic lead in Yeh Dillagi, which also starred Saif Ali Khan and Kajol. Akshay is well known for his action roles in these movies.

It was time for humor and dark undertones after a wave of action movies and a brief foray into romance. With the 2000 smash movie Hera Pheri, in which Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal also starred, and the 2001 film Ajnabee, Akki dominated both of these genres, solidifying his status as the multifaceted hero. Additionally, Ajnabee brought him his first IIFA for Best Performance in a Negative Role and a Filmfare Award for Best Villain.

But Akshay always had a soft spot in his heart for adventure and adrenaline. He entered the small screen as the presenter of Fear Factor - Khatron Ke Khiladi, further solidifying his top spot as the Khiladi of Bollywood. With this endeavor, Akki achieved fame and popularity on both the tiny screen and the 70 mm.

When the Rs 100 crore club became the new standard for business in B-town and movies were establishing higher standards, Akshay left his mark there as well. His movies Housefull 2 and Rowdy Rathore eventually joined this exclusive group.

Personal tranquility also came along with professional success. Twinkle Khanna, the daughter of Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia, was married to Akshay Kumar in 2001. Their daughter Nitara Khanna Bhatia was born in 2012, while their son Aarav was born in 2002.
